Hi im building my pc and i already bought the case(InWin Grone white) and mobo (z97 extreme4). Im still deciding which cpu and gpu i should get. Im going to game at 1080p, most of the time it will be dayz standalone, also some online bf4 and i hope to try some upcoming games too. I want to play every game at ultra settings without scratching my head. I want to do some video/music editing but nothing extreme. I know that i have consider either an i5 or i7 cpu, and nvidia or amd gpu (760,770,780,780ti vs r9 280, 280x, 290, 290x). What do you think?

What do you think about the case and mobo i bought?

i5 4690K for the processor
2 x4 , or 2 x8 gig of RAM [ depending on your budget ]
Any graphics card from a GTX 760 or R9 280 on up [depending on your budget ]

The board is good

My budget allows me to get either:
1/ i7 + 2x4 + 780ti
Or
2/ i5 + 2x8 + 780ti
Or anything around the same budget or lower.

Ive seen many gpu benchmarks and 290x is a really good buy. From what ive seen and read it is slower than 780ti in most of the games but the difference is 3-7fps. In some titles though, 290x performs better. Then the price seems to be a big factor. Same comes to the i5 vs i7 cpu. I dont want to overspend too much if you can get almost the same performance when spending alot less. But then im thinking about upcoming games which i definately want to try on max settings at 1080p. I mean games like new mass effect, fallout, division and h1z1. I dont know their system requirements so its hard to tell. Thats why im here. Have you used any of those monster cards or seen one in action?

I havent used either GTx 780ti or an R9 290x
Either is capable of maxing any game at 1080p , and especially if you have a 60 Hz monitor [ which can only ever display a maximum of 60 fps ]
