So here is my almost completed build http://pcpartpicker.com/p/2x6Nxr My PC will be used for gaming and school work. Now I need to decide on a motherboard, I already got a monitor at home. This is my first PC build and the 2 TB hard drive I am going to buy on new egg. Is two hard drives good enough for storage? Also I was thinking about the Asrock and Asus Z97 motherboards, which motherboard brand would you get? Thanks for the advice!

The link you provided is just to the parts list page, not your specific parts list.

Anyway if you've got $1500 to spend, I don't see why you should go to a cheaper case if you like the one you've selected, just be aware that it is a BIG case.
You can get a Maximus VII Hero, and either a SSD or AIO Liquid CPU cooler under $1500, Or a cheaper mobo with both SSD + H100i, or a 780ti for just over $1500
PCPartPicker part list 1 $1495 Hero + SSD
PCPartPicker part list 2 $1480 Hero + H100i CPU cooler
PCPartPicker part list 3 $1506 Extreme6 + SSD + H100i
PCPartPicker part list 4 $1509 Extreme6 + 780ti

Personally i'd go for option 3, although as i'm a massive fan of the NZXT H440 case, i'd get that in red/black. Then...

just delete the .my at the end. Asus is pretty much known for the best motherboards, but Asrock is also very good. Cant go wrong with euitger one. And i would go with a r9 290, its like $80 cheaper and the same performance if not better.

Then scrap the optical drive because I never use them, and if i ever do i'd get an external. The money saved from the ODD i'd put towards an AsRock Z97 Fatal1ty killer to keep the red/black colour scheme and install my OS over USB (it's easy to copy the OS CD onto a USB using another computer).
My ideal build $1470
