Hello,
I've a K53SV Asus laptop with a Nvidia 540M and it was fine until 4 days ago i cant get any game in my pc to use the correct gpu.
I had this issue with Tera Online but i was always able to fix it with Nvidia inspector by deleting profile and making a new one but now nothing works.
I've tried in FFXIV , Diablo III and Borderlands II, Spintires but they never use the 540M
What i've done so far:
Uninstalled everything i could that Windows update installed this month.
Uninstalled Intel and Nvidia drivers and used "Display Driver Uninstaller"
cleaned everything up with CCleaner
Reinstalled the drivers
Chaged the settings in Nvidia control panel so it Should use only the nvidia and not integrated graphics
Made profiles for the games in the control panel.
Tried to start the games with the correct gpu but it still uses integrated.
Tried latest drivers launched by nvidia 337.88 but since it did not solved anything i reverted to old one that was working fine previowsly 295.73 but not now.
I'm also using OptimusTools to see if the gpu starts and it does only when i have Control Panel opened.
Also used Aida64 to see if it was alive, and it is,
I was trying to avoid formating the pc but i running out of options this is my last resort.
