hi,
i'm building a computer for casual gaming and i stood by the A10-7850K Processor from AMD, for the potentially needing more power afterwards, with the dual graphics option, currently i chose the Extreme4+ Motherboard, but everywhere i see people using this processor with the Extreme6+. What i'm asking is what is the difference between the two, as what i see is not worth the 30$ more, probably only the 2xBios on the Extreme6+, thou i don't know how it works. Can you guys please help? In addition i'm planning on using 2X4G DDR3 2400 GEIL EVO POTENZ (i read in some forums it's hard to put them in the motherboard and that is better to use 1DIMM Memory, don't know if that's correct or not)
Thanks in advance!

Let me recommend a nice FHD mid settings gaming platform.

CPU: Athlon X4 760K for $90: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819113348
Motherboard: MSI A78M-E45 for $65: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813130747
RAM: AData XPG V1.0 8GB (2 x 4GB) 1600MHz for $73: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820211861
GPU option 1: MSI GTX 750 Ti 2GB GDDR5 128-bit for $145: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127783
GPU option 2: PowerColor TurboDuo R7 265 2GB GDDR5 256-bit for $150: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814131572 (better than 750ti)

If you're using an APU (AMD or Intel) for gaming, high freq RAM and dual channel is mandatory.

Now, the A10-7850K Kaveri is a very powerful APU, but it's also quite expensive. Also dual-graphics works better now with Kaveri, but it isn't a better option than a dedicated GPU.

You should consider building a gaming PC with a dedicated GPU.

Yeah i do agree it's a pricey processor, but the A10-7850K brings 28nm technology to the table, prior to the everything else from AMD, plus it has a much richer set of instructions then the Athlon. The Athlon is not as powerful, requires more Energy and plus the addition of discreet GPU brings the total at roughly 250$. Which is more then the 200$ entry A10-7850K (without a discreet GPU). If you add a R7 240 (you can choose 240 or 250 to par with the 7850) you go to the same price of roughly 250$. Thanks for your time to give me a solution, but i was asking for the diff in the motherboards.

I know the Athlon is not as powerful as the A10 CPU part, but if your objective is gaming, you need a powerful GPU not CPU.

The Athlon is a very capable CPU (only 5W TDP diff) and it doesn't bottleneck the GTX750Ti nor the R7 265.

Where did you get that equivalence of dual-graphics = HD7850? Kaveri dual-graphics is (sometimes) = HD7770.

Either way, good luck.
