Ya, so i've been having doubts on my rig. Is my rig good enough to handle new games?

Here are my sys specs:
i7 4770 3.4ghz
Gigabyte h87m-d3h motherboard
Zotac GTX 770 Amp Edition 2GB
RAM 10GB 1333mhz
1TB seagate barracuda
Razer Naga 2014 Mouse
Razer Blackwidow Ultimate 2014
NZXT 921 RB Guardian
Dell 23" IPS Display Monitor
Corsair 650W PSU (vs650)

Do i need to get a better motherboard ?

Looks like you should be able to play pretty much any game on high settings on 1080p. The RAM is a bit weird though... 1333hmz is a mismatch considering your other parts are good. And 10gb is a weird number (2x 4gb and 1x 2gb ??). The only thing I would do is buy this RAM and sell whatever RAM you have on ebay for a few bucks back.

CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1866 Cas 9
$84 & free shipping, 10% off w/ promo code GAMEMTEN, ends 7/23

personally, the only thing I see wrong with your rig, is the ram. Most newer PCs are designed to run in dual (or quad) channel, and if I'm not mistaken it's supposed to be 2 sticks of the same ram. For instance, you'd want 2 sticks of 4gb, not a stick of 6 gb and a stick of 2 gb, to make 8. I'm not sure of your config, but I'm almost possitive you could go with less ram, and have better performance from your ram, not to mention 1333 mhz ram isn't ideal for haswell. Haswell "likes" 1600 speed ram the best so it can take full advantage of XMP profiling. As for the rest of the rig, I see nothing wrong. That graphics card should be able to play just about all current games on max settings in 1080p without "much" effort. Crysis might bring it down some, but the 770 is a strong card.

To answer the second bit, the only reason I'd see to upgrade the mobo would be if you decided to go with a 4770k processor for overclocking. The mobo doesn't appear to have pcie 3.0 which could hinder you in the future, if they ever take full advantage of it. Until then I would think that would be a quite capable pc.

If you're missing performance somewhere you might want to look into redoing your system with a fresh installation of windows and all new updated drivers. I could definitely see the RAM causing issues. If it's just "seeming" slow, a SSD, for bootup and a few games, would be a nice investment over a new mobo.

If you look into getting new ram, I'd suggest G.Skill 2x4gb. I have 16gb (4x4gb) and I love them. Make sure they're 1600 speed.
If you decide to go with a SSD, I'd suggest a samsung 840 evo or pro in 128 gb or 256 gb, depending on your storage needs.

In reference to robax, personally I don't like corsair's high profile ram. It's just too tall and for no reason. It looks pretty and all that, but it just takes up too much head room. And just an fyi, 1866 ram doesn't really work well with haswell. Most of the time it downclocks it to 1600, or it just bugs out. Been there, done that.

EDIT: I read up to make sure this was still the case. Early haswells did have issues on this, but new revisions no longer have these issues, and actually have noticeable gains from 1866 and 2133, but mostly only if you're willing to OC.

With a stock non-K processor, you're looking at a 2-5% gain in performance.

Ok, so i'll remove that 2gb RAM.
In a month or two i'll buy the RAM you & robax91 suggested.

I think you are mistaken about the PCIe 3.0. I do have that.
As I'm from India, this is where i usually buy from. And is my MoBo

If you scroll down in the link, you can see specifications that says it has PCIe 3.0 you mention above.

Also can you explain your sentence "If it's just "seeming" slow, a SSD, for bootup and a few games, would be a nice investment over a new mobo."
I have 1TB storage space, as an artist, i need plenty of storage capacity.

As you mentioned missing performance, i did notice my gtx 770 under-performing in Sniper elite 3. I saw many Youtube videos in which all play at highest settings. My wont go above 30fps on same setting.

Well some people say their PC is getting slow, when it has very capable hardware. This generally happens in 2 cases. First case, they just get used to running at the faster speed, so it seems slower. That's most people, that's the drive that keeps us wanting to build bigger faster PCs. The second case is failing hardware drivers due to bad initial installation or just windows junking itself up with useless preload files. Either way, I'd suggest a fresh install since that system should be able to run just about anything on high settings and most things on ultra.

On a side note, you should definitely make sure you're running the most current update pack from NVIDIA for your graphics card. That card should be eating sniper elite alive, especially on a 23" monitor. My GFs dad is a SEv1 and 2 Junky, and got a bootleg SEv3 and has been playing it just fine on 1080p with an XFX 7790 Black Edition 1gb. Your card is triple that card.
