i7-4820k with 8 dimms of ram?

Hey Everyone,

I recently bought a MSI big bang xpower II and a intel core i7-4820k.
The MSI big bang xpower II supports 8 dimms of ram, but Im not sure if the 4820k supports 8 dimms :l

Yes. It also supports quad channel. So you can have 64GB (8x 8GB) but unless you are visualizing or running some server programs I doubt you would ever need that much. So make sure all your RAM sticks are the exact same model and see if the manufacturer says they can work with quad channel.
