Hey Everyone,

I recently bought a new pc with 2133mhz ram wich I later found out my CPU didnt support (after I bought it) so Im running it at 1866Mhz, if I buy more ram would I have to buy 2133Mhz ram or could I buy 1866mhz?

Thanks
Buck

You may benefit from having the 2133MHz RAM despite it being underclocked to 1866MHz - it should be able to use tighter timings at that speed. Have a look at its SPD/EPP/XMP data - there should be several sets of timings listed for different clock speeds (and possibly voltages). I think CPU-Z can write out a report to a text file that contains details of all the available profiles (although it only displays up to 4 when you view them in the program).
