Will Corsair CX430 V2 be able to run R9 270X without problems?

no way 430 psu will able to handle all that may will run but a slight load and u will star facing problems...and if u have a k processor then i suppose u are going to oc it ....so i will suggest u to buy a 600 watt psu ...

600w . Really. For a PC that draws under 300w
-4770k 84w
-r9 270x 150w
-others way under 70w
The allienware x51 has your configuration with 4790(the version you cant OC) , gtx760 or r9 270x , ssd and hdd + 4 sticks of ddr3 and needs a 330w PSU.
You can easily be fine with a good 400w PSU but they need to be 80+ and you must not have any OC plans. Also evga has some nice PSU at 500w for 45-50$.
The corsair CM series arent that good for gaming , they are more office oriented.
 


The 270x is 180w not 150w but you're right that a good quality (not corsair cx) 450w PSU would suffice

Actually the card consumes on average in gaming 120w with peak consumption of 135w. Only using furmark stability you reach 170w( on the stock version) and 220w+ from other custom cards.
However i believe you wanted to play not to make benchmarks on that card.
