Not all games are well optmized to get over 30 fps @ 1080p with a 760 on ultra. But surely the 760 is a better gpu than ps4's.

Depends a lot on the games you are playing too. You could have a 3000$ machine and Watch_dogs would still run better on the PS4 cause the PC version is a crappy port.

And no, you can't run all the games cause some are exclusive to PS4, like Uncharted and Bloodborne.

Your CPU is fine. I paired my i5 3330 with a my first GTX 780. Don't let people lie to you. Technically the PS4 has a better CPU as it has a true 12 core cpu.... However overall yes your system is far superior to a ps4.

The 760 may not always manage absolute max settings at 1080p at 60 FPS in every title, but it will come rather close. Some sub-1080p games on PS4 are capped at 30 FPS.

Being "better than a console" is a very low bar to meet.

I lol'd.

You've been lied to. Watch Dogs runs at 900p and 30 FPS on both consoles, and that's without the extra textures and graphics effects we get on PC. I don't think a port has ever been made that is so crappy that it isn't at least AS good as its console versions.

Perhaps more disappointing are the issues with PC performance. We noted a lot of comments online about stutter and can confirm that this is an issue, even with powerful gaming hardware. It appears that streaming of assets is the major culprit as adjusting texture quality has much more of an effect than dialling back graphical presets. We'll go into depth on PC performance in the full Face-Off, coming soon, but first impressions are that while the stutter issue remains in effect on Nvidia hardware (with v-sync active, we see occasional frame-time dips from 16ms to 33ms to 50ms), it is much more of an issue with the AMD cards. Even going nuclear and throwing a top-end 290X at the problem didn't produce a satisfactory experience.

That's what I was basing my comment on.

I know some gamers have had some serious issues with that game (especially on release day with AMD hardware) but its not everyone. Even so, I have some difficulty believing that its really worse than being hard-capped to a sub-par resolution and 30 FPS and still have mediocre visuals.

The game runs, um, alright for me. I get some drops to 40 FPS or so here and there that I don't think there's much reason for, but I definitely get a better experience than I would on a console.
