You can use it, no problem. All you need is a PCI-E slot on your motherboard, which you do. This is not a fast card for gaming, but it is fine for everything else.

It's pretty expensive card for the performance it provides.
Anyway, what is ur power supply? what do u want to use ur PC for? what's ur budget? and lastly, ur full system config?

It will play LoL or League of Legends (if that's what u meant), with medium settings.
I mean, with 1024*768 resolution, u will probably get 30-40 FPS.

Yes and yes. But if you intend to play anything, regardless of your slow CPU, I don't recommend anything below R7 250.

For r7 240 then you will get FPS of about 41 to 75, max 100 $69.99
with r7 250x FPS 75-110, max 130 $84.48
with r7 260 FPS 80-120, max 160 $89.99
Now according to ur budget you can go for whatever you want.
Note: Higher valueis better and all prices are from pcpartpicker.com

Although r7 series cards are PCI 3.0, but they are backward compatible so it'll work the PCI-E 2.0 slot as well.
Have a look into the below website, the GPU cards which are compatible with ur board and works just fine in ultra-high settings for LoL

Your call, sir. More money equals more performance in this case. And you determine what's enough performance for your case.

As herrwizo suggested, go for r7 250. more than good enough for budget gaming.
