how to fix system32 drives

Iv recently added a new hard drive to my pc but since then everytime i boot it up it comes up say system32\drives then it just keeps restarting is there anyway i can fix it without the disk cause i got got my pc sec hand without the disks please help me

Can you please provide a lot more detail than "say system32\drives?"

How far does it get in the boot process? What is the exact message - I will eat my hat if it actually says "syste32\drives." And I have a very nice hat.

My first guess is that the system is trying to boot from the newly added disk and it's not bootable. Do you know how to get the BIOS boot menu and choose which drive to boot from? That's the simplest approach.

What brand and model of system is it?
