Bios update on P5ld2 x/1333

My 7 years old computer has a ASUS P5LD2 x/1333 motherboard and I've been thinking lately to upgrade it to a better CPU, a Intel E8600. but I've seen that I need a BIOS update to do so, and I'm asking you guys if you know a simple way to do the update from a flash drive. Maybe some of you have/had such kind of motherboard and you know a way. I've been looking all oer the internet, but i haven't seen any procedure involving my motherboard.

Download bios zip file, extract to a pendrive formatted as fat16/fat32/xfat.

Plugin pendrive, reboot pc.

On Asus splash screen you may see a function key number to load EZ Flash 2 if not access by going in to BIOS.

Point to your pendrives drive letter, it should pickup any ROM/BIN images, select the appropriate one.

It will verify and if you OK, flash the BIOS.
