Those two combinations max my budget so theres is no room at all for alternatives. Which will be better for gaming? @1080p (8gb ram)

If you'll overclock then surely Amd but if you won't overclock then Intel because the fx 8320 will easily beat the i5 4670k when both overclocked , in some games if you overclock the fx 8320 it can be up to 20% fps boost but if you oc the i5 4670k it can be up to 8% only. So overclocking= always "AMD" and Stock=alwasy "INTEL" :)

Your main question is: Will I want to Overclock?
If you don`t you can even go for a i5 4670 (non-k) and try to get a R9 280x, since you also can use the cooler that comes with your CPU.

If you`ll OC, as already said, you could go with AMD.
Also, is FX 8320 & R9 280/x not an option?

I've got 4770k and 280x. Lemme tell you what, it's amazing. I've turned the hyperthreading off and turned it down to 4670k speeds to do some benchmarking. On games, it doesn't really seem to have any remarkable increases from 4670k to 4770k.
