Hi guys,

I'm building a budget gaming pc. I'm confused as to what graphics card to get. Please advise.

This is the config :
1. CPU - AMD FX 6300+ 6 Core Processor
2. Motherboard - MSI 970A-G43 32GB DDR3 AMD Motherboard
3. RAM - Corsair Vengeance 4GB DDR3 1600Mhz
4. GPU - ?
5. PSU - Corsair VS450 450 Watt PSU
6. Cabinet - Antec X1-T

The GPUs that I'm considering :
1. Galaxy nVidia GTX 750 OC 1GB GDDR5
2. Sapphire HD 7770 or XFX Radeon R 7770 1GB GDDR5
3. Radeon R7 250 1GB GDDR5

I heard that with an AMD processor, an ATI card is better off? (I'm not sure about this)
And the HD7770 seems to be at the end of its life but still better than the R7 250. And idk much about the GTX 750 and even though the benchmarks look good, I would like to know real-world results which seem to be hard to find as everything is about the GTX 750 Ti, which is too much for my budget. Please help me, ooh masters of gaming.

Hi.

From the 3 GPU you mentioned, the GTX 750 OC is much more powerful than the others. The AMD CPU + AMD GPU running better is not true.

I no longer recommend using the AM3+ platform, because is a dead socket. It's too old now and AMD is not focusing anymore on it. You should look for the FM2+ platform which has newer good features, is better priced because is oriented to budget gaming and AMD is focusing in this platform mainly for desktop (along with the AM1 platform). Or from the Intel side, look for the LGA 1150.

The 450W PSU is too low for your system, look at least for a 550W certified one.
