UPS turning off suddenly

Hey guys..i recently upgraded my system. My configuration is

Core i5 4460
Corsair vengeance 8Gb(8×1)
Gigabyte H97M-D3H
Sapphire R9 270X with OC boost 2Gb GDDR5
Corsair VS650 650W PSU
Cooler master K380 cabinet
My issue after this upgrade is that my ups turns off with any reason no warning no beeps nothing.
Its 600W APC ups.
What can be the reason. ?

Hi

APC make many models
Most have software which has built in self tests run at intervals ( of month )

And power down PC after power fails
Either time left in battery or time after power failure

If battery has failed test may switch ups off
If battery failing test will warn you

Battery Life 2 to 3 years depending on how often it is needed and temperature

Is there anything besides the CPU on the UPS? Monitor(s)? Printer(s)? You may just be overloading the UPS. Do you have the UPS connected to the PC with a USB cable? If so running the APC software might give some insight.

I have my monitor and cpu running on the ups..this problem has started only after this upgrade. Is my power supply too much for the ups?

Hi

If psu draws over about 500watts from ups rated 600VA
it may be overloaded
But looking at that list of parts only at highest graphics workload are you likely to get near 500W
( modern psu have power factor correction so watts and va are closer than was the case with old or cheap psu)

Run diagnostics on ups
Either with software and serial or USB connections to ups
Or using buttons on ups

It seems that your UPS battery got old. You need to change the battery of the system or show it to the concerned person he will check it and let you know the problem.

Mine did similar and it was just one of the batteries had gone bad, so I went ahead and replaced both batteries, (never replace just one of a 2 battery UPS setup), and now it is working back to normal.

There is no guaranteed battery life to even last 2 years and most UPS batteries will last at least past the warranty period and some of them almost seem like they have a timer on them, to quit shortly after the warranty expires! (Jking!

Replace the batteries and it should be just fine.
