Hi guys,

I want to buy a computer for video editing and 3D render for example. I read some reviews and i have in mind this following components:

CPU - Intel CORE I7 4790 3.6GHZ 8MB SKT 1150 (274,60€)
SSD - SAMSUNG SERIES 840 EVO ULTRASLIM 250GB 2.5'' SATA III (129,90€)
RAM - CORSAIR PC3-12800 1600MHZ 16GB VENGEANCE PRO BLACK CL9 (2x8GB) DDR3 (162,25€) ou KINGSTON PC3-12800 1600MHZ 16GB XMP BEAST CL9 (2x8GB) DDR3 (159,90€)
MB - ASUS Z97-A SKT 1150 (139,20€) ou ASUS Z97-PRO SKT 1150 (173,90€)
GPU - ASUS GEFORCE GTX760 DIRECT CU II OC 2GB GDDR5 PCI-E 3.0 (228€)

Mu budget limit its about 1350$ (1000€). I will keep my case (Antec Three Hundred) and my power supply (Corsair 550W).

The second list is much better optimized for Adobe, and incidentally will do everything else better, too. To truly optimize it, you'd need to go to a 6-core CPU, a Quadro GPU, and double or triple your RAM, among other things, and the price tag would be at least 3X higher. I'm guessing you don't need that much. There are several areas that you could downgrade without sacrificing too much performance, which would free up budget for an upgraded PSU and a GTX 770 - would be better for gaming, but wouldn't improve the Adobe performance.

+1, the second build is within your budget and it is a beast; it will run anything you throw at it.

My bad - I just went back and looked at your original post and realized your prices were in Euro, not British pounds. My first list is only about 96 Euro under, and my second is 269 Euro over. What country are you in? What's your preferred shopping venue - which online shopping sites or stores do you normally buy PC gear from?

That puts a different spin on things. Too bad you didn't buy your parts earlier this year before Amazon UK stopped the free deliveries. Oh well.

What would be the best sources for you? I checked several websites (PCDiga, Assismatica, and Globaldata) but wasn't able to match up the prices that you listed in your original post. In some cases, it might still make sense to order from the UK or elsewhere in the EU and pay the shipping.

If you're not going to overclock, that will give you more (and cheaper) options. Do you want to keep the option to SLI? If not, then, again, you'll have more and cheaper options (uATX, mITX). I'd still recommend getting an aftermarket CPU cooler as the stock one is just barely sufficient. Without overclock, you could get a smaller, cheaper cooler than the 212 EVO that would still be much better than stock.
