Is the CPU socket in a standard position on all motherboards?

I'm thinking about replacing my mini ITX board with a standard ATX board. Right now I have a h100i for a cooler and the radiator is in the front of the case. The hoses barely reach the CPU at that distance so I was wondering if the new motherboard would be in the same position? If it is like an inch towards the rear of the case then it will be a problem. I would rather not move the cooler since its a Define R4 and I have the sound damping material covering the top vents.

Basically is there a standard that motherboard manufacturers have to follow that governs the position of the socket on the board. My CPU uses an LGA 1155 socket.

Technically yes, as bigger form factors are wider and longer but the cpu socket remains at the same position in relation. However, since it is a Mini ITX the situation could be different depending on how it is attached to the chassis.

Its in a full sized case. As long as the socket remains in the same position relative to the case then it will be fine. When I say the same position, I mean it too. If its an inch towards the back of the case my cooler wont reach.
