Precautions while building a pc

Hello guys

I ordered parts at newegg and amazon
I will build the pc

There is floor mat in my entire house except the bathroom and kitchen

I ordered anti static wrist strap also

Can you explain the problems that i may encounter while building and their fixes
Thanks this is my first time building

Is it okay if i wear anti static wrist strap and build on floor mat

#1 - Try not to build on any carpets regardless of wrist wraps.

#2 - Don't forget to use standoffs for the motherboard when attaching it to the PC case. Not using standoffs runs the risk of frying the motherboard. Standoffs are included with the PC case, please use them.

#3 - Connect the correct power cables to the correct components (for example, don't connect the CPU power cable to the video card).

#4 - Take advantage of cabling room in the PC case. If you can route cables in the back panel, do so, it will make for a much cleaner build.

It shouldn't be a risk as long as you screw in the card in front of the PCIe slot.
