I haven't heard of any LIGHT gaming laptops with a 880M GTX. The best you can get is a 870M or a 860M!

I'd recommend the on TechyInAZ posted or a 2014 Razor Blade (14 inch) and it has about 6 hours of battery life, which is perfect for school!

(http://www.tomshardware.com/news/geforce-gtx-880m-laptop-roundup,26316.html) - As you can see here, most of these 880M laptops weigh roughly 6 - 9lbs, which is not extremely portable for a student.

Yeah, you won't find a 880M in a light form factor, 6GB 870M is the maximum there is.

They're both different so it's hard to say which one is better. The MSI GS60 has more storage with it's 1TB HDD and a combined 256GB SSD while the Razor carries only an SSD. The price is the biggest different thus far so if you're looking to save money, the GS60 is the way to go.

Between Razor and MSI, the question is more about which brand you prefer. There are some consumers that prefer the Razor build or vice versa!

Yeah it is but is it worth the extra 3 pounds? Also is the build quality better?

I want both haha. Probably more performance though. I do like the sleek design of the razer blade though. The only thing that I don't like about the razer is it's 8GB of RAM.

It still would be nice to have 16gb in the future.
