I need a laptop for my study, starting september.
Are there coming out new parts soon, or doesn't it really matter if I buy one now, of the last week of august?
I could use the laptop for more purposes already, but I only actually NEED it in september. I'm not sure if there is coming out new hardware for laptops soon, so I don't know if I should wait.

I don't want to get in a situation where I just recieved my new laptop, and 2 weeks later a new Laptop-GPU or -CPU gets introduced, which drastically drops the value of my laptop.

TL;DR
Is there new hardware for laptops coming out within the next 2 months? (for example: CPU's or GPU's)

As far as new parts coming AMD's Kaveri based notebooks are starting to show up in the market and should be more common by the end of august besides that nothing of note. The big question will be how much are you planning to spend and what would you like to be able to use it for.

yes what do you need this laptop for?

your asking about cpu/gpu. unless your gaming you do not need a gpu in a laptop. though, a quick look at laptop deals.... HP has a pretty darn good deal for 15.6" 1080p i7 quadcore with an nvidia gt740m gpu for $585 right now. normally for a quadcore i7 your going to be paying around this price.....

your not going to get a faster cpu in a laptop than the i7-4700mq, and the gt740m will more than allow gaming modern heavy graphics intensive titles like battlefield 4 on medium settings at 720p resolution. and for the price its a great deal, even if you are only going to do light gaming.

I'm using it for an IT study where I will be using multiple virtual machines on the laptop. I want at least i7 with 16GB RAM. Since I'm also a gamer, I want to have a decent GPU in the machines. I'm willing to go up to €2000. Looking at the MSI GS70-2PE because I really like the fact it's so thin. Only downside on this one is that it will never support 32GB RAM, since it only has 2 RAM slots.
Also, in my country, the best version of this laptop would only have 2x128GB SSD, while I wanted 3 in RAID0. Could buy one extra myself, but I want 3 the same SSD's for best performance.
