Computer starts up and off right away

Whenever I try to start my computer by pressing the power button the blue led lights up for a second and the PC turns off immediately. I don't know what's wrong it was working fine two days ago. Yesterday I didn't even use my computer. I've already tried switching electrical ports, and I tried changing the power wire. Any ideas on what could have happened or how to fix it?

It could be your CMOS battery. Could be a slew of other things but that would be the cheapest place to start methinks.

start with bare boning the pc. take the video and other cards out and see if the mb stays on. if not try another power supply.

Dammit I'm so broke, too young to have that kind of money, for another PSU! I'm going to wait a little before trying to turn it on again, maybe there's not enough power for it to start up.

look to see if your power supply under warranty most have a 5 year warranty. take 5 min on a vendor web page to see if it has one.
