Title^
Currently I have one 1920x1080 and one 2560x1080. I have no problems running this set up but Im a little hesitant if I add a 3rd monitor(1920x1080)

Edit 1: I also plan to use nVidia's Surround for gaming, if possible.

More about : gtx 770 4gb handle monitors 1920x1080 2560x1080

well i dont think the gtx 770 can use its full 4gb. I would of recommend you'd have went with a card suited for higher resolution(780/r9 290) but at that high a res i think you'll use the full 4gb and the gtx 770 wont be able to handle it either sli the gtx 770 4gb or get a 780 or r9 290

I don't know if you will get good enough performance... What games are you playing and at what settings? If you want ultra on latest games I would buy another 770 for SLI

hes at like 4k gaming and the gtx 770 is not really made for 4k just multimonitor. yeah so a gtx 780 or r9 290(r9 290 is cheaper unless you favor nvidia over amd and both perform the same) these are made for that but sli'ing these would be better make sure they are both 4gb gtx 770.

It really depends on the game. If you're not playing a very intensive game, this should run just fine, but newer games won't be able to run at high spec. That's a lot of pixels to be pushing, but you have the 4GB model, so you should be okay in that regard.

but the problem here is that the 4gb model is not really useful outside of sli. the 4gb is a marketing trick the 4gb will take its time to fully transport 4gb of data. so ultra is not possible, high barely so mediums is best.

That's not even the slightest bit true. Memory controllers would take just as much time to access 4GB of VRAM as it would 4MB.

ajianmanki, to answer your question: Your gaming performance will be a bit slower than what you have right now. You can physically run 3 monitors on a 770. However, like Arcturus suggested, you may want to consider running two of them in SLI to get good performance.

for it to display it i would take its time. Running sli with these is his best bet for best performance at this high res(props on cheap 4k).

Actually I'm running 2 R9 280X and a friend is running 2 770s, we both can play fine with 3 1080p monitors. SLI 770s are probably the best solution.

yeah but this has like 1-2 million more pixels (2k monitor x 1080x 1080) not equal to (1080 x3)

Thanks guys for answering!

I think I need to get a better GPU or at least SLI to achieve my goal.

Also since I'm here, is it better to buy a single 780ti or 770 SLI, as far as money well spent? or should i just wait for next gen GPU's?

2x SLI 770s are faster than a 780 ti

true sli will get you 150FPS IN BF4! and is well suited for 4k but what would be faster 2 r9 290's or 2 gtx 780's but a sli'ed gtx 770 would still be great its just the driver when they come its a blessing but if the game doesnt support(cfx or sli) man it sucks.
