Hey Guys,

I had a question about an issue I have been having for about 1 month on my monitor/computer. I bought an Asus PB278Q monitor off of B&H Photo and received the item and it looked like it was in great condition. I plugged it in booted up my PC and everything looked great. However, I then started seeing green specks/dots (extremely small) flickering on dark areas of a webpage or game. Anyone have an idea of what this could be? Monitor, Graphics Card, etc? I also noticed that these green specks/dots seem to disappear when i lower the resolution from 1440p to 1080p (haven't checked this in 2 weeks though).

Graphics Card - XFX Radeon 280x Graphics Card
Monitor - PB278Q
RAM - 16GB Corsair Vengeance
Motherboard - ASUS ROG
Processor - Intel 4770k
Power Supply - 750W Corsair
HDD - SSD EVO 500GB.

Thanks!
Will

i think its the monitors dying or damaged pixels just remove the gpu and check your problem if its not the gpu then it should be monitor..

When you say remove the GPU how do you suggest I test out the monitor? I dont have a spare GPU are there any ways to test outside of using another GPU?

gpu is not necessary to run a pc u have on board display driver for that.....and your processor already have a built in gpu i think intel hd 4000 ....so remove the gpu and put the dvi /vga/hdmi cable to the motherboard socket...
