So i am building a gaming PC and was hoping to get some advice and/or opinions on my build. I am a newbie when it comes to PC's but have a decent idea what i am doing, hoping to improve my knowledge with time!

The components i currently have selected are as follows:

EVGA GeForce GTX 780 3GB PCI-E w/ ACX Cooler, Dual DVI, HDMI, DisplayPort
WB 1TB Red NAS Hard Drive, SATA III w/ 64MB Cache
Kingston HyperX FURY Black 8GB DDR3-1600MHz CL10 Dual Channel Kit (2x 4GB)
Corsair CX Series CX750M Modular Power Supply
NZXT H440 ATX Mid Tower Case, Black And Red

Now this is where i am debating on what to get, i am currently looking at Motherboard CPU bundles (local memory express) and am unsure which to would fit my build best.

Intel Core™ i7-4770K Processor Bundle w/ Asus Maximus VI Hero Motherboard
Intel Core™ i7-4770K Processor Bundle w/ MSI Z87-GD65 GAMING Motherboard
Intel Core™ i7-4790 Processor Bundle w/ MSI Z97-GD65 GAMING Motherboard
Intel Core™ i5-4670K Processor Bundle w/ Asus Z87-PRO Motherboard
Intel Core™ i5-4690K Processor Bundle w/ Asus Z97-A Motherboard
Intel Core™ i5-4690 Processor Bundle w/ Asus Z97-A Motherboard

Sorry for the long list :p
Feel free to check the website if you feel i perhaps missed a better option. http://www.memoryexpress.com/Category/Processors (Bundles option is on the left)
Is the i7 worth the extra money? i will primary be using this PC for gaming, homework, and maybe Photoshop

Thank you very much for any responses!

If you are 'only maybe using photoshop' then I'd just go for a i5 bundle, because photoshop isn't as intensive as rendering etc. if you plan on OC'ing, get a i5 with a k, but if you aren't and are just looking for good performance, go for the 4690k

If it was mainly for gaming, there'd be little reason to go beyond the i5. But if intense Photoshop work is in your future, then the i7 would be a better choice. Not that the i5 wouldn't do a great job in Photoshop too, but the i7 would be a bit faster.

The "slowest" i5-K would be un-distinguishable from the fastest i5-K for gaming.

Why the WD red, that's for NAS / RAID, and are slow.
You want a black or a blue for the system, unless you are going with SSD.

Just backup on a single drive, you want a green, much cheaper than a red.

Also, CL10 1600Mhz ram.. >_< *shudders*
for 1600/1866Mhz ram, try dimms with CL9 or lower.

If you are new at building computers, I'd recommend you non-k processors bundled with a good H87/H97 motherboard like the MSI H97 Gaming 3.
A better PSU as well like Corsair RM, TX etc. Seasonic, XFX, EVGA.

The Black will be the fastest, followed by the Blue, for 7200 RPM drives.

The next step up from the Black would be the WD 10,000 RPM drives, VelociRaptor.

Can't remember exactly, but the red has special features that prevents the holdups, that are peculiar to RAID.
