That RAM is 1600MHZ DDR3.

Whenever you can utilize dual channel mode, the memory access will be slightly quicker. A single stick of memory in only one slot will not allow dual channel mode to enable.

Depending on the rig, Dual Channel can provide a increase of up to 10-15% (on Intel) maybe 5-10% with AMD

How do you know it's 1600Mhz? Just curious as to know how you found out.

Will that 10 - 15% be noticeable?

Depends on what all you do, if everything is done singularly - then prob not, if you open a number of windows (multi-task) and go back and forth you might notice, or if doing memory intensive work

If you're gaming mostly, would it be noticeable?

That, and the fact that the "160" is in the name.

Thank you very much :)
