Help with New GPU

I bought a nvidia zotac geforce gt 640 for my inspiron 660s and i am having trouble getting it to fit in the case.Can someone give me a suggestion

cool that is a low profile card and the kit has two back plates. is the issue your having now that the metal io sheild on the gpu now is too tall to fit in your case with the card seated in the video slot?? if it is in the box from amazon site should be two other shields. look to see what one fits. (on your gpu the vga port can come off. it an add on cable. to make the card shorter in hight.

Actually the problem is that it cant fit in the place where the PCIe slot is

the standard video card for that pc is a one slot card. your card is a larger two slot card. the card shrund may be hitting the size of the case or parts on the mb. use a flash light to see where it hitting. also use the old card make sure the cards fingers and keys line up on both cards.
