Hey guys, First of i want to apologize if this is in the wrong section.

My issue, not so much a problem, is this. I have recently installed a custom water cooling loop in my computer. I have no leaks or anything like that yet. But my computer seems to be a bit laggy since the installation. Web pages take about 2-4 seconds longer to load depending on the site. Also wondering if i can plug a case fan into my CPU fan spot on the mobo? In a hope it will stop the warning that i get on boot for no CPU fan. Or if i cant plug in a case fan there, how can i make the mobo ignore the fact that the CPU fan is no longer needed.

Thanks everyone for any and all advice. when i have the pictures loaded i will add them in the comment section.

Thanks again
I am running....

Asus A55BM-E motherboard
AMD A6 6400k 3.9Ghz
ASUS Radeon R7 250x video card
1tb HDD
8gig RAM 2x4gig
Thermaltake V3 black edition case (getting a full size soon)

Cooling system consists of

XSPC Raystorm....waterblock
XSPC X20 750...Res/pump combo
120mm Swiftech.....rad
1/2" primochill.....Tubing

Anything else that you guys need just ask. I'll ask if i need help getting that info. Also Task Manager and AMD system Monitor are both showing jumps to around 70% when loading webpages. Thanks again to everyone.

Solution
Check your cpu temperatures are not too high.

Check your hardware is plugged in and seated properly in the slots and that all wires are plugged in. Give everything a once over looking closely.

You can plug a case fan in to the mobo to stop the warning, but you can usually turn off the cpu fan warning in the bios. Find the cpu fan settings and set fan speed to ignore., or see what other settings are available.

I'd hazard a guess that your CPU is throttling itself due to the perceived lack of a case fan.

CPU-Z and some temperature monitoring tools should give you a good clue.

Also, I suppose putting one of your case fans on the CPU fan header should resolve it - but I'm not a custom loop expert, so maybe someone else will give you some solid advice on how to handle the "missing fan" issue. :)

Thanks guys. i'll try the fa then if that dont work i'll set fan speed to ignore. I will also check all connections again. but spent a little while checking all that. My Asus AI suite program shows CPU temps around 84-90 degrees Fahrenheit. Again thank you for the insight, and anyone else who gives some advice.

I doubt this is the case, but since I don't know your specs i'm going to put it out there. Perhaps the pump for the newly installed loop is pushing your PSU to the limit, which may cause a bit of a slow down with system performance. More than likely it's the CPU freaking out because it thinks it does not have a cooling fan

Those temps seem very high. I'd only expect to see those temps in overclocked or stress testing situations and if in a liquid-cooled system, only at extreme overclocks. It could simply be that your CPU is throttling down due to Thermal Overload Protection - check your event logs.

Also, time to give us all the specs you omitted to post in your first post. :)
