Hi Tom's users,

I just recently purchased and set up a new monitor for my old gaming rig, ended up buying a Dell ST2420L, and compared to my old monitor, am very happy with it. However, I've noticed upon installation and my computer auto detecting best resolution, that the outer most limits of my screen are being clipped (top and sides). For example, I'm currently in Chrome, and the space above the tabs is completely missing from the top of the screen.

All in all, I suppose it's not a huge issue, but it does really irritate me. But, how can I fix this issue? I'm currently connected to a Radeon HD 6850 via VGA

Have you tried hooking up to your monitor via DVI? Also, do you have the latest drivers installed? Have you tried your monitor on a different computer?
