Will an EVGA GTX 660 Superclocked be bottlenecked by an i5?

I know that it's best that you spend more money on your GPU than your CPU, but I just wanted to know if my i5-4670K will bottleneck my GPU. I'm open to solutions and suggestions for a different GPU.

No, not at all. The i5 4670k is a great CPU

Also, for that price range, I would recommend the AM r9 280 as it will outperform the 660 and it is only $10 more . http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814202099

It would take a much more muscular card to bottleneck on the top gaming choice of CPU. So no.

You can probably run a 780 on the i5-4670K.

No bottlenecks there! I was going to build a rig that consisted of the 4670k with a gtx 770, but have decided to use an 4790k with a 780 just because

if anything go down to an i3 and get a gtx 760. gtx 760 and i3 work very well together and do not bottleneck eachother. New architecture in NVIDIA cards runs cooler and is more efficient.

Why would he go from an i5 to an i3? There is not reason to do so.
Also I believe the 280 is a better choice here as it offers 3GB VRAM, gains about 3fps over the 760, which isn't noticeable but for being $40 cheaper, its a better value.

When you say do I have an nvidia card like that, what do you mean? I do have a 770 if that is what you are asking. also if you want to stream games, I can recommend a 760, but that is up to you. The 280 would be better for the gaming (as it will last longer with 3GB of VRAM, and it is cheaper than a 760 while still being slightly ahead of the 760), but if you want to stream games, then you may want to look at a 760.

Sorry for not being more specific, I meant to ask if you could think of a card that would be about of the same efficiency, (gaming,streaming,etc) as the 280. I recently got a offer to sell the Shield ($200) so I'm going to sell the shield and get the 280. Thanks!
