This a good computer?

Solution
If you're not going to build a PC, then yes. Digital Storm makes very great pre-built gaming systems. I totally understand if you're not one to want to build a PC, many people just don't want to do it. As for Ibuypower, it's a good website if you want to change out something and just check out parts/prices. Good luck with your computer.

However, the Digital storm vanquish seems to be a very popular choice for pre-built systems, so keep that in mind.

Yes/No...for a pre-built system, not bad. That said (and many will point out), you can build a better systems yourself. Since thats not your cup o' tea, this is a better value: http://www.ibuypower.com/Store/B2G-Intel-i5-Special

Though Digital Storms is a much better system builder than ibuypower, the price is better for the B2G. If it were my money, I'd go iBuyPower for the [lower price], upgraded CPU and cooler, and make sure to "spend up on a better PSU" (i.e., 700w OCZ/Corsair RM/etc)

Compare the two, check out the specific parts...and make a choice. Good luck friend.

That's OK for $1186 with a monitor
and i5 4590, Asus H81, GTX760, ODD, 1TB HDD, Windows
But I don't like the CX power supply. See if you can get a Seasonic or XFX

You should also see waht you can get for $1200 including monitor and OS (or $1000 without) here - as a build your own

eg

CPU: Intel Core i5-4670K 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor ($209.00 @ Amazon)
CPU Cooler: Thermalright Macho Rev.A. 73.6 CFM CPU Cooler ($49.90 @ Amazon)
Motherboard: ASRock Z87 Pro4 ATX LGA1150 Motherboard ($99.99 @ Newegg)
Memory: A-Data XPG V2 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory ($68.99 @ Amazon)
Storage: Samsung 840 EVO 120GB 2.5" Solid State Disk ($73.98 @ Newegg)
Storage: Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($59.98 @ OutletPC)
Video Card: PNY GeForce GTX 770 2GB Video Card ($309.99 @ B&H)
Case: Corsair 200R ATX Mid Tower Case ($57.99 @ Microcenter)
Power Supply: XFX 550W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply ($49.99 @ NCIX US)
Optical Drive: Asus DRW-24B1ST/BLK/B/AS DVD/CD Writer ($19.98 @ OutletPC)
Total: $999.79

Absolutely. Even though enthusiasts scoff at pre-built, its an awesome way to rope new PC gamers in (which is a win for everyone of us).

iBuyPower is great to "spec out" a computer, and see a nice selection of cases/etc. Cant argue with what Ive read about Digital Storm however...if I had money to throw around, I'd grab a spec'd out Bolt II. Such a beautiful build

No doubt a better value, as folks have said. Op doesnt want to build however

Well, I hope his/her mind is warming to the idea though ;)

Nice build! I see that you're trying to persuade the OP to make their own build, but you still got to respect that they specifically asked not to do this.

Again, if you'll stick with this one if it's "just a bit better", then this is probably the one to go with.
