gaming amd cpu

Keep in mind that AMD does not make the best gaming CPU's. Intel does.

The best CPU for gaming completely depends on your budget. The order goes roughly like THIS:

LOW - X4-760K, or Pentium G3258
(depends on the game but I did have a link that proved the G3258 tied or win almost every game despite having half the cores.)

*Now this is embarrassing for AMD. The budget 2-core Intel G3258 beats the FX-8350 in Skyrim!

MID - i5-4440

HIGH - i5-4690K or i7-4790K

I simply can't recommend an AMD CPU for anything other than budget gaming builds.

on a 600$ build : it's either X4 750K or Pentium G3258. Though to get an Overclock-wise board you have to pay more with intel.

If 700-800 $ then i would recommend I3-4130 or 4140. around 110$ this will get you nice performance and you save money on board since no overclock there.

800-900 $ AMD FX-8320 will allow you, at 150$, to spend big money on a nice GPU and max any 1080P games.

1000$ + Intel I5 like 4690K

1000$++ Intel I7 for huge powerhouse.
