Cossfire Sapphire R7 260x with Sapphire 6670HD Ultimate?

Simply as that, I read that Crossfire would work on different AMD cards of similar structure.
Went a little deep trying to find if this crossfire setup can work, and nothing.
If someone is so kind to help me, I'll give that man a cookie.

Can I do Crossfire with those 2 cards?

No, you can't with those cards. Crossfire does work with different chips, but they must be from the same architecture.

The R7 260X is a GCN based GPU and the HD 6670 is a VLIW5 based GPU. The R7 260X can crossfire only with other GCN cards, even from other generations. Example R7 260X + HD 7770.

you cannot crossfire an R7 260x with a 7770 as they run on different architechtures. The R7 260x has GCN 1.1 Bonaire XTX Architecture and HD 7770 GCN 1.0 Cape Verde XT.

I had previously read that you could crossfire them, but i rechecked right now and it's true. You cannot crossfire GCN 1.1 and GCN 1.0.

Sorry for the confusion.
