Same brand, same card just two gigabytes more ram and cheaper than other 270x's from other stores.

Gigabyte R9 270X 2gb

VS

Gigabyte R9 270X 4gb

I will also have an fx-6300 cpu and 8gb 1600mhz ram.

Which card is better?

granted watch dogs can perform better in certain instances with 4gb over 2gb (like dual gtx770's for example), but a quick google check turns up nothing that i can see that supports your claim regarding 2vs4 for slower cards like the 270x

even then, watch dogs is basically the only game that shows any improvement, and like i said, only under certain instances/settings.

i disagree. even if crossfire was a future option, the 270x doesnt have anywhere near enough processing power or memory bandwidth to utilize the extra 2gb. there are faster, more expensive cards out there that cant even call 4gb worthwhile.

the 270x is a good performer, but save your money and get the 2gb card or a 280/280x.
