XFX 7950 Tahiti

Can my Dynex 520 watt psu run this graphics card? My Tahiti xfx 7870 runs fine with it and an FX 6300 by amd with 8gb of Gskill ram. I was wondering because I want to buy it and run it while saving for a psu to run both in xfire. not planning on xfire until i get a new psu but i just want to know if i can run it alone

Thank you all for answering, I have no money to replace the PSU right now so I'm sticking with this one as well as my R7 260x.

1st, Your PSU may run it, gonna depend on what it's pushing for amps not so much wattage. 2nd, you can't crossfire a 7870 and a 7950 unless it's a 7870 LE/XT, has to be Tahiti on both cards. Recommended for a 7950 is 500 Watts.

You'll find Dynex power supplies on Tier 5 of http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-1804779/power-supply-unit-tier-list.html - Replace Immediately!!

For a 7870 crossfire with a 7950 you'll need at least 700W eg Seasonic 750, XFX 750 or Antec HCG 750M

they both have been in xfire before both are tahiti that is what it says... im not asking about xfire, im asking about running the 7950 alone since i have run the 7870 before with this psu

Sounded like it to me.

A 7950 needs 550W eg Seasonic 520, XFX 550 or Antec HCG 520M
