No power-on self test with new build. PLEASE HELP!!!

So, I just built a new PC and connected everything properly. When I turn the computer on there is no image being displayed on the monitor and no POST beeps at all. Monitor is connected via HDMI to the GPU. Should I take everything apart and build it over from start (total reset), or am I missing something completely?

There is a thread about how to troubleshoot a new build at the beginning of the forum

but the first thing I would try , assuming all the fans start etc etc , is to use a dvi or vga connector to the screen , and to make sure its plugged in to the right place ...graphics card if you have one , mb if you dont

It would be helpful if you could post the complete system specs. There's a link to the troubleshooting checklist mentioned above in my signature. Perform all the steps in the checklist and let us know how it goes. The checklist was created for this type of problem.
