Solution
You will need a better motherboard as that one is missing the motherboard VRM heatsink in the top left.

This would work http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157507&cm_re=z97_motherboard-_-13-157-507-_-Product
However, if you want to get big into overclocking, the extreme 4 would be better, but that is a bit more expensive.

Also, I would switch that CPU to an i5 4690k, and put that money towards a better GPU as you will gain more in the gaming category.

I would get this GPU if you got the i5 (the 280x) http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&DEPA=0&Order=BESTMATCH&Description=amd+280x&N=-1&isNodeId=1

Or this GPU (770)...
