I'm planning to buy an i3-4150 (it's an i3-4130 which is more recent and has 0.1 GHz higher clock speed, no other differences that I know of) for gaming and a Radeon R9 270x graphics card.

Will the i3 bottleneck the R9 270x? If yes, in what games and by how much? If no, will this stay the same in the future (few years)?

i3 will NOT bottleneck 270X
but it is better to buy cheaper 270 non-X
because 270X is just higher clocked version of 270
