GeForce 8600GS or Intel HD Graphics

Hello guys
I have a Pentium Dual Core G2030 @ 3Ghz and no dedicated GPU. I am not sure if it is worth buying a GeForce 8600GS for 15 euros or stay with integrated gpu. Will I notice some difference at FPS in games and approximately how much ?
Right now I can play GTA 4 on medium-high settings with shadows off because I get a huge FPS drop...
Hitman Absolution runs perfectly on medium-high settings...
Please reply ASAP.
I am playing games on 1024x768 resolution because my monitor is a 17':)

It will perform better as anything is better than Intel HD Graphics! However, don't expect high settings on demanding games.

The 8600gs is a directx10 card with horrid performance even at low ress. That cpu can handle much more and its a waste not to get at least an r7 250 thats pretty non-expensive and will also have directx12 support in the future...

If you have a bad power supply, your system could be destroyed by it. So it doesn't matter what GPU you get if it breaks.
