PSU Sparkles and Insurance is Dead

I bought a 80+ gold 1000W power supply from ebay and i tested it , unfortunately it doesnt work. Im worried about it killing my components when i open it up. It starts burning (sparkles inside) and the insurance goes out in a few seconds can anyone help?! ;(

do NOT put it in your computer, and return it asap.

well, find out what you can do to return it, but if you cant return it, throw it away, it will likely kill your pc if you try to use it

I just tested it and insurance went down not trying to open it anymore but i dont think there is solution for it either? My old psu is a 600watt no certificate ;(

I didnt plug it in my computer tested it on a socket and the insurance / Short circuit kind of thing(electricity) on the socket went down but the psu s back switch didnt
