I have DDR2 memory from my old died computer and I want to give it to my friend.
I want to know how to check is the RAM working, because it's from a died computer as I already said.Maybe nothing can't even happen to it.
I don't know.
Please answer ASAP.

The best thing to do is to first check the compatibility between your friends motherboard and the RAM you want to give him. If they are incompatible then its a no. If it looks okay just put it in his system and the computer will tell you if its bad RAM by either beeping/flashing a number of times or sending out warnings or not booting up at all.

You could use CPU-Z to check the ram if the computer boots or just type the following into the CMD (wmic MemoryChip get BankLabel, Capacity, MemoryType, TypeDetail, Speed)

DDR2 is pretty poor now as a standard, I only ever see it used in poor performance corporate IT user machines to check emails etc. I made a xmas tree out of DDR2 RAM last year.
