My steam account has been hijacked, he first had access to the contact email, then proceeded to put the account into family view so I could not change the password or anything then he changed the email and password. I care not about any items but I do care about the 100$+ I have spent on that account with games.I have already sent a steam ticket but shitty customer support is proving to be taking its time replying. Steam customer support is saying that I am sharing my account with the hacker?....lol, anything that I can do on my own to get rid of the hacker from my end?, he also got my CC details while taking access of the account...

your only chance is to talk to steam support. safety questions will give you a chance to explain your situation. Even if they were changed by the account hacker, the support person will be able to check if your answers were once valid. Absolutely nothing else can be done in my opinion.

If your bank account is tied to the steam account, you must notify the bank. otherwise they dont take any responsability, which is normal. change your internet payment code so that you dont get badly money scammed

First thing I would do is cancel that credit card. That would / could be the greatest loss, not the STEAM account.

Next I would try to get control of your e-mail account back. Once you have this, then you can initiate a password reset with STEAM. You absolutely need to get control of the parent e-mail account first, or he will just take the account back in the same manner I am suggesting you.

Steam's garbage customer service, security, and terrible servers are why I have abandoned my Steam account since March and resorted to Origin for most of my gaming this year. But anyway, try changing your e-mail and Steam passwords on a frequent basis. What anti-virus protection are you using? A bad AV program could have something to do with the Steam account hack.

He changed the contact address, I no longer have control of the account at all but I do still have proof of ownership of the account, but if I don't cancel my credit card and he uses it cant I just like tell the bank to revert it?

Kind of, some cards work like that, some have a limit on how much they cover. Some will only cover things after you report it stolen... it's all depending on your terms of service. The moment you realize it was stolen/lost you should contact them to ensure they stop any activity on the card and have records of when it happened.

You are lying. When he changes the password or logs in from a new device the cc information is wiped. Blame yourself for giving away your account.
