So, I'm making my first build next week, after years of console gaming, and I can't decide if I should wait for the 800 series, stick with the 700, or go for a 760/750ti for now and upgrade next year.

If I wait, I'll be using the iGPU for a while. So I'll have time to play all my old games and 2d platformers and such so it won't be such a big deal.

I'm pretty much set on the config though

Asus Maximus VI Impact
4790k/4690k (will update the bios to support it)
Corsair H100i
16GB Corsair Vengeance Pro 1600
2TB Seagate Barracuda
120GB Samsung 840 Evo
Corsair RM650

I'm looking for "future resistance", so If you have any recommendations that would be neat.

PS: I'm from Brazil, so prices are all over the place in comparison.

If you can get a 97 mobo which will support the next round of CPU's as well.

If you're a patience guy, you can wait for the GTX 8xx series. But if you're planning to make a purchase now, get the fastest GPU that your budget will alow you since you only have one PCIe slot to work with.
