Hello I have 1 8gb stick of corsair vangence running on my pc now I want to upgrade it and want another 8gb stick of corsair vangence.so my question is that will old single stick 8gb corsair vangence work with new corsair vangence 8gb single stick.i will be really thankful if you guys will comeup with a answer.thankyou.

If the latency and frequency are the same yes they can. If not I would not risk it as it can damage your PC.

This will work however the RAM will revert to the speed of your older vengeance RAM. So like putting in an extra memory module of the older vengeance RAM you have.

Maybe, mixing DRAM can be and often is problematic, even with the same exact model. Best is a 2x8GB set, but if you try mixing and have problems, give me a shout, might get them to play with voltage and/or timing adjustments.
