aren't custom PCs usually easier and cheaper to repair than say a Dell or HP? if so, I am going with a custom rig. and by how much easier are they to repair?
Thanks for the responses.

Wit oem if anything goes wrong within warranty period you can send it in to them with custom you have warranty but its on individual parts. So if two parts go bad you need 2 RMA instead of one. Also OEM is bad if you plan on upgrading in the future, because if you switch out the mobo it might not work with the case, the power supplies tend to be weak and not reliable so they have to be replaced most of the time and graphic cards wont have as much clearance. The best thing I would say if your on the fence take a look at sites like ibuypower.com as it is in the middle since its a custom pc that you yourself wont have to build and they issue their own warrenty for it.

Looks good, what are you planing on doing with the system because I noticed you don't have a graphics card. If you plan on gaming I would recommend getting a graphics card because the onboard will only be able to really play games on low. Also do you plan on overclocking in the future if not you can save some money by getting a non k processor

heres what you may face with a prebuilt down the road if it falls short along the line

some models of store bought computers [dell.hp,acer,ect..] may come with a ''locked or fixed'' bios and may not allow you to change certain hardware as a video card.. this is done to protect them from undue warranty claims and refunds .this is not done to hurt you but to protect them. you really need to see if that upgrade has been proven to work in your model first before you invest money in it .. there are a lot of these threads here at toms to look at some models will allow upgrades and some dont.. and a lot of guys here say ya ya ya when is really no no no...it would be sad you spent $200 on a card that wount post after you installed it as most find out. then get told its your psu and you spend more and end up right back where you are now, but its up to you good luck..

you got to know the the boards in these computers are not like the ones we use to do custom builds witch are open to upgrading with in the boards compatibly . the bios is custom made for there design and just for the parts they authorize to be used on there computers

Newegg are probably ripping you off on the enthoo luxe- intended price to be around $150. And everything is cheaper in the US compared to the UK. Got my iPad from the US and saved 20%.
