Anywhere to get cheap 8.1 in the UK for students? Cheapest I can find is £50

Basically what the title says. Already checked the site that checks if you can buy windows from your uni but thats only available to faculty at mine.

Pretty subjective really. What is 'plenty cheap' for you may not be plenty cheap for others who are far more stinge. Like me!

Let's put it this way. if you find it for more than 25% off retail its an illegal copy. That's just how windows pricing always is. Find a major retailer with it on sale for a few bucks off and buy it. Try to be cheap and you'll end up having to buy another copy in a few months when they deactivate your illegal copy.

UK uses pounds not euros :p So that according to google is $85 USD. And Google's exchange rate is VERY hard to get.

My bad :D never been to the UK so was just guessing there. If you know any kids at the school who arent going to buy it ask them to buy it for you, other then that guess you going to be paying £50 for your copy of win 8.1
