I am an average gamer and recently got into recording it. The mic I have now is terrible and I want to buy a new mic, perhaps[s from the company Blue. I looked at the Snowball and the Yeti, and yes the yeti is better but will I ever have need for that many features. I might use it to record voice for animations later on but for right now I need one for recording gaming. The snowball seems awesome but is there a volume control on it? And are there any other better options out there for the $50 price range?
