Alright, before I begin I'd like to say that I need someone partial to both PCs and Consoles to answer my question. I have about 800-1000 dollars at my disposal. I'd like to get both the PS4 and Xbone (Already have a Wii U), or one PC. I can't get both of those obviously, so I want to know which one I should get. My friends have consoles only, plus some exclusives are only coming to the consoles (Halo, Little Big Planet, etc.). But, many console games have PC ports In higher quality. Both the PC and Consoles have their perks and downfalls, so I want your opinion on which I should get.

If you like to play the same game a million times with different numbers like metal gear solid 1-500 gran turismo 1-500 you get the idea. Its great to use the console to play with your friends

If you like waiting for a week when a game gets released for 60 dollars then drops to 39, then pc is the way to go with good humble bundles.

But asking the pc community is never going to give you a serious answer. Same thing at the xbox or ps forums

Depends on how much you value console exclusive games and playing with friends on console. Most people here will urge you to get a PC because that is what we do but it might not be the thing for you.

I personally don't enjoy using a console controller unless I am doing a racing game so consoles are not really my thing any more. It's a freedom thing, you can do what ever you want on a PC and it gives you a level of control that you don't get with consoles, but with that freedom comes a level of teaching your self how to get out of holes you might dig.

I spend most of my time gaming on my PS3 really, but that's because my favorite game is a PS2 game.... that I play on my PS3... when I have an amazing PC as witnessed in the link in my signature. But I also have a full time job and so I'm getting really tired lately after work and just like lying back in my recliner with the ps3 hooked up to a 30" tv that sits on an end table next to my recliner with my 60" TV playing movies or DVRd TV shows, instead of playing on my computer's dual 24" monitors because quite frankly, all the new games are stuff I've already played before, and aren't nearly as interesting as my favorite PS2 game, that I bought an original model PS3 specifically for because they upscale the graphics and only the older ones actually play PS2 games.

I get bored after about 30 mins of playing most PC games now, but I've been gaming for 25 years so... yeah.

Work harder, save up more money, buy em all. Or just give up on the one you don't actually play. I owned a PS3, XBOX360 and a Wii. I never used the Wii, and the game I put the most time into was Wii sports. I grew tired of the Xbox360s offerings, and the PS3 had better graphics... except I really only play my PS2 and PS1 games on it... except for Dynasty Warriors... I'm one of those guys who buys every Dynasty Warriors game they make, even though you might think they haven't changed in the 15 years they've been making them.
