AMD Radeon R9 270X, or nVidia GeForce GTX 760. The 270X has a better price/performance ratio, but the 760 is a faster card

If you want a card to play newer titles at high/ultra get yourself a gtx 770. The 270x are meant mainly for medium settings on the demanding games and the 760 will not be able to play the newer games at above 60 on ultra settings. So best choice is a 770 or a 280x which is a rebranded 7970 (which benefits from mantle. From past experience with amd and nvidia I would recommend 770.

That is an excellent PSU, and it could handle every GPU out there.

I'd go with the GTX 770 or the R9 280X for high-ultra settings in next-gen games.

Very high (same as ultra) without AA: http://www.bit-tech.net/hardware/graphics/2013/10/09/msi-radeon-r9-280x-ge-oc-review/5

As you can see the R9 280X gets less fps, but it varies a bit depending on the game.

I'd go with the EVGA card. It's clocked a bit higher and that makes it a bit faster.
