I am running Windows 7 64-bit. I want to have my laptop keyboard turn off when I plug in an external keyboard, my mouse pad does the same and I want to help train myself to use the keyboard I have on the pullout of my desk with my mouse. This will help me maintain better posture and allow me to use my ball chair more easily for exercise.

Yes it will, the point was to help train myself to use the other keyboard. Even now, by default I am using my laptop keyboard instead of the external, leaning over and destroying my posture and making my me much more immobile. I wanted to find a way of doing it where it would take less mental effort to choose the other keyboard. Like I did just now.

Also, a note here to state, it is possible and we see it all over the place, like with my mouse pad, and with audio ports. I am just looking to see if anyone knows how to do it, or knows of an application for it or something like that. Anything short of lessons on coding for it (that would be a big project and not worth the effort I would be putting in).
