i just bought the pentium anniversary edition and i need to get ram for my system and i was wondering if you could use ddr3 1600 ram. i could just get some 1333 but they dont have nice ram heat spreaders to cover the pcb, most of the lesser epensive 1333 ram shows the green ugly pcb. so i was wondering if i could use 1600 speed ram. because on the intel spec sheet it says only 1333 ram.

Personally I would buy some decent ram, and underclock it if anything. That way you already have decent ram when you get a different chip later on. 1600 would probably work out of the box to an extent, just set the XMP profile, 1866 might require some manual tuning.
